David Gillikin is the Managing Partner of JDG Capital, a Texas-based private investment firm. After a nearly 20 year career with Cummins Southern Plains, LLC (CSPL) David Gillikin formed JDG Capital. With $600MM in revenue and approximately 700 employees, CSPL was the largest distributor in revenue and profitability for Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) products in the world. During his career with CSPL, David held a variety of sales and operations positions within the organization. David served as President of CSPL for 2 years and assumed the role of CEO and President following the retirement of his father. David and his management team grew the business significantly at 10% CAGR over 7 years. During this time, the organization penetrated new markets and customers that would eventually equate to 40% net profit for the business. In addition to his management of JDG Capital, David currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut. He is a member of the Dallas chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization and is a Member of the Histiocytosis Association of America. David received his Bachelor’s degree from Williams College in Williamston, Massachusetts.
Over the course of 36 years, Pat has built a lifelong career with Cummins Southern Plains, LLC (CSPL) and possesses extensive in-depth knowledge of multiple sectors including heavy-duty trucks, busses, mining, construction, agriculture, marine, oilfield equipment, and parts manufacturing. Pat began his career working as a Parts Counter Clerk and quickly worked his way up the company until arriving at Vice President of Operations and Engineer, directly reporting to the President and CEO of CSPL. As VP of Operations and Engineering, Pat was responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the corporate office, manufacturing, distribution center, and all 10 full service branch locations. The operations group represented 85% of the company’s 670+ employees and 50% of total revenue. He also developed and maintained CSPL’s multi-channel distribution network. While at CSPL, Pat was also active in a number of councils including the Health, Safety, and Environment Council.
